My Cycle Story

As a teenager, I struggled with irregular cycles and mood imbalances, like anxiety and depression. There were so many times I met darkness in those years and struggled to understand what was hapenning to me. So when I finished school, I decided to go beyond the surface of my symptoms. I wanted to understand why I felt the way I did.

Not long after, I stumbled into a tent at a women’s festival where a class on the menstrual cycle was being taught. What I learned that day quite literally changed my life. Suddenly things began to click - the moods that once felt erratic and overwhelming started to make sense when I viewed them through a cyclical lens.

From that point on, I became somewhat obsessed with women’s health. I read every book I could find, began tracking my cycle, learned how to eat for my hormones, and used herbs to relieve period pain. I wanted to know everything! -Like how my mood was affected by my hormones, and how my hormones were influenced by what I ate. As a teen who that restricted my diet and overexercised, learning that I needed to nourish my hormones to support my cycle (and fertility) reframed everything for me.

Learning to live cyclically trasnformed my relationship to my body and my cycle. And now, it is my passion to share this work with other women.

She shares with scientific backing as well as a strong spiritual and energetic truth. It’s such a beautiful balance and I can’t wait to learn more from her!”

“I loved the spiritual and positive framing of our menstrual cycle and our relationship with it. Before the course, I saw it as something that just happens every month—a biological occurrence—and because of the pain and symptoms associated with it, I didn't build a positive relationship with it. This course has taught me to engage with it more and reflect the nuances of each of the phases. I'm looking forward to seeing how much relationship builds with my cycle. I also found all the herbs and movement suggestions really useful.”
